Happy 100th Birthday, Gipper!

Of course I have to post on my favorite President Ronald Reagan and honor him for his 100th birthday yesterday.  Last year I had the privilege of attending the Clare Boothe Luce Women's conference at the Regan Center and we had the chance to tour Ronald Reagan's Ranch.  It was the most amazing experience to tour his home and it truly gave me a deeper love and understanding for our 40th President...from the two twin beds that Nancy and him pushed together to sleep on, to the note he left for her on how to turn on the tv...it was so charming, so simple and so very humble. Ronald Reagan said of his beloved Santa Barbara, California ranch, “No place before or since has ever given Nancy and me the joy and serenity it does.”  President Reagan’s Rancho del Cielo, his home for nearly twenty-five years and the Western White House for eight.
