Happy 4th of July!

I absolutely bleed red, white and blue.  I’m so proud to be an American and love this country and everything it stands for.  I dream of the day that I have a home where I can display an American Flag all year round.  I loved these displays of the American Flag from Martha Stewart.  Have a very Happy 4th! God Bless America!

Red, White & Blue

I'm starting to think that the 4th of July is my favorite holiday.  Everywhere I turn I buy anything red, white and blue that I can get my hands on.  I have a deep love for our Country and I'm so proud to be an American and yes I'm one of those people that cries while watching the fireworks show on the 4th.  Katie (my fabulous label lady) who I buy all my labels, tags, banners, toppers, from...has an adorable July 4th set of printables at Green Apple Paperie for only $10 dollars.  It's a must and will add so much to any 4th of July celebration.  Happy almost Independence Day!

Red, White & Blue

The 4th of July is my favorite holiday, for obvious reasons.  I'm so patriotic and love anything and all things Red, White & Blue.  How adorable are these popsicle red, white & blue cupcakes that I spotted over on TomKat Studio.  Have a wonderful Memorial Weekend!!

Stars & Stripes

I'm not much of a photographer but I wanted to show you the cookies that I put together for the 4th.  I purchased red, white & blue star cookies from the Metropolitan Market, bagged them in clear cellophane bags and tied them with Navy & White stripped ribbon from my favorite store Packaging Specialties.  What a fun hostess gift or treats for your guests! Have a wonderful weekend and Happy 4th of July!

Red, White, and Blue we love you!

Ohhh, bring on the red, white and blue!! I just love the 4th of July...it's hands down my favorite holiday.  I always dream that one day I would have a home in The Hampton's or I guess the San Juan Islands would do ;) where I could throw the most elaborate Patriotic Party filled with a crab feast, homemade ice cream with a topping bar, over the top party favors, paddle balls, corn on the cob, sidewalk chalk, old fashioned coke, cracker jacks, peanuts, root beer floats, white sheet cake with strawberries and berries in the shape of a flag, U.S. History trivia game filled with questions about our Founding Fathers, a water balloon toss & relay race, a private firework show, a mini parade filled with radio flyer wagons, streamers & sparklers.  Okay my list could go on and on.   I'm very patriotic and can't wait to sport my 4th of July dress.  Because of my clear love for this holiday, I'll be posting a 4th of July blog once a week getting us ready for our celebrations.  Here are a few fun DIY ideas I found on Martha Stewart.  Happy Planning!!
