Star Wars Cookie Cutters

Did anyone else grow up pretending you were Princess Leia and hoping that Luke Skwalker would come and sweep you off your feet.  Okay, so maybe that was just me and it could have to do with the fact that my brothers had matching Star Wars themed bedrooms and my mom had me dressed as Princess Leia 2 Halloweens in a row.  So how could Star Wars not hold a special place in my heart. Williams-Sonoma must feel the same way! These are so much fun, I just had to pass along.  Throw a Star Wars movie night and make these cookies, what a hit! May the force be with you while you bake!

She posted this adorable Tooth Fairy Kit, it's just to die for.  I love it and can't wait to buy one for my nieces.

Baby's Breathe...Oh, So Classy!

So I'm not a huge fan of baby's breathe but my classy mom always adds baby's breathe to our Christmas Tree and it always adds such a fun and classic look to the tree.  So baby's breathe always catches my attention.  I found these wedding pictures on my favorite blog, Style Me Pretty and thought what this bride did was just out of the box and stunning.  You can use this idea to decorate for an auction, party, shower, or a wedding. What a great and inexpensive idea. I just love this look.  And Mom, you are always right!  Happy party planning!

Jack and Lulu

Okay, so you know a website is to die for when you click on the 'about us' tab and this comes up...

Spring and Elizabeth.  Peanut butter and jelly.  Scarves and mittens.  Harold and Mode.  Bonnie and Clyde.  Cowboys and Indians.  Chutes and Ladders.  Shrimp and grits.  Polka dots and stripes.

Check out how fabulous their stationery line is and of course they don't just stop there.  Their Recipe boxes, monogrammed wall art (what a genius idea), The whistle bag (I LOVE), and to top it all off they have a gorgeous line of stationery book sets. Inside each pretty box, you'll find 20 juicy colored cards. How fun!  I need a set!  And how can we leave it at that...Jack and Lulu's stripey straws are selling now at Anthro.  Dear Jack and Lulu we love you and your fabulous prices!!

Berry Basket Favors

Love this!  Send your wedding guests, shower guests, or even just your friends who come over for afternoon tea, home with fresh strawberries and scones to enjoy. Wrap scones in cellophane, and line a wooden berry basket with parchment paper. Tie on a note (I would use red gingham ribbon...how cute!) stamped with a strawberry design.  Happy Picnicking!

Okay, no judging aloud, but I'm not as eco-friendly as I should be.  But if I had one of these stylish bags from Neiman Marcus I might think twice about sporting a shopping tote.  How cute are these monogrammed totes...they would make a perfect gift bag, beach bag, or even gym bag, all for only $29.  We love Neimans!  Happy Grocery Shopping!

DIY: Who Doesn't Love Tulips

I thought this was a darling idea...if you want to send your friends home with a little something – this is perfect!  First, prepare individual bunches of tulips (wrapped in kraft paper with a sticker saying “thanks for coming!”) and present them in a big bowl at your front door for people to take as they leave. You can purchase cute labels from one of my favorite websites, My Own Labels .  Happy Spring!

A Women With Class

While spanning the world to promote box office topper 'Iron Man 2,' Gwyneth Paltrow has been repeatedly asked how she got toned to portray the slender Pepper Potts. The actress blogged about her intense core exercise routine and her daily nutritional menu.
Calling the aerobics "arduous," Gwyneth has made the routine available for fans to achieve the same lean figure of her character. "I asked my business partner and trainer Tracy Anderson if she would share with us the terrifically difficult leg series she made for me to do during the filming of the movie," she said. "This 26 minute long video was an amazing start for getting the butt and legs I had always hoped for."
Do not be fooled. That is not all it takes to transform into Pepper Potts. This series of exercises is the grand finale. Preceding it, Gwyneth endured a 45 minute dance cardio workout and arm drills. She stressed that eating habits are also key, adding, "I followed her strict diet for five days to lose my extra winter weight."
Gwyneth admits that she did not commit to this super health-conscience lifestyle forever and sometimes resorts to this crash diet to be red carpet ready. "Now, I am not a good dieter and I cannot ever do it for long, only when there is a goal in sight, which there was in this case. This regime got me into the shape of my life and I continue to return to it when I have a specific event so that I can do ridiculous things like be a 37 year old mother of two and wear shorts!"
To see Gwyneth in tip-top shape, watch 'Iron Man 2,' in theaters now.
Happy getting those hot legs!
