Pretty Ballerinas

There are no words for these shoes.  Tory Burch step aside...I'm drooling and need to buy a pair of these Pretty Ballerinas flats right away.  They are only sold in NY and Europe, so thank goodness they are online. Apparently they aren't just the most adorable shoes you've ever seen but they are also very comfy.  Bonus!  Thank you Sanity Fair for introducing me to these flats...I'm such a sucker for matching and with these options I could match every outfit, okay so I'm dreaming. 

Princess Diana: The People's Princess

I have to admit I actually got a little emotional looking through pictures for this post.  I was captivated by Princess Diana when I was a little girl, she represented all that I thought was classy, stunning, regal and royalty at it's best.  She is the true meaning of class for me and she lives up to the statement that "she wore the dress, the dress never wore her".  She had class, beauty, and most important her personality and love for people is what made her a true beauty inside and out.  I've included some classic pictures and fun facts that I never knew about Princess Di...thought you would enjoy!

Married in 1981, her train was literally, Cathedral Length at 25-feet, it took up much of the space in the carriage as she rode to St. Peters. Her dress reminded me of Anne of Green Gables with the belled sleeves.

Princess Diana danced with John Travolta at the White House dinner on November 9, 1985.  She was introduced by President Ronald Reagan who temporarily forgot her name.

Princess Diana loved to open her Christmas presents weeks in advance.  Her favorite gift that she always desired was frames to put pictures of William and Harry.

She loved Versace.

According to InStyle, Princess Diana had amassed 176 suits, 200 purses, and 250 bags and 95 evening gowns.  I was actually surprised at the low numbers.

Sweet Comfort

I fell in love overnight with the clothing line Clu.  I've just recently started to force myself to dress more casual.  So when I saw that Clu was a clothing line inspired by the casual wear of the West Coast I knew it was meant for me.  I can definitely wear sweatshirts and casual clothes if they still have the fun ruffles, chiffon, silk and great details to them.  Check out some of these fabulous pieces...it makes comfy clothes so much fun and you can still make a fashion statement!  I know these items are a little pricey but when I was shopping around for Clu I came across some great sales prices...Happy Shopping!

Laguna Beach Wedding: The Montage

I flew down to Laguna Beach on Friday for a wedding at the stunning Montage and I was blown away and honestly felt like I was in a dream.  I'm in love and had to share this breathtaking hotel and some of the wedding pictures.  It's a craftsman style inn situated on the coastal bluff of Laguna.  The setting, wedding, food, guests and hotel exceeded any expectations and made me feel like I was at a celebrity affair.  Laguna reminded me of one of my favorite places to vacation, Maui but yet Laguna is just a quick flight and so doable for a weekend getaway.  Perfect!  Here are a few pictures of the Hotel Montage and the wedding.  It's a must vacation spot.

Amber and I had a Gen Next event last night, it was a beautiful evening on the water in Medina.  We both showed up wearing our new dresses...stripes & navy, so Honey Do...of course!!
